Why Joshi denied as chief justice? 3 reasons of his rejection

Kathmandu: New incident has been registered in parliamentary history of  Nepal. The parliamentary hearing committee rejected Dipakraj Joshi to be the head of Supreme Court.

Among total 15 votes, 10 were against Joshi. Four  members from the Nepali Congress boycotted the voting.Those to vote in the decisive process were nine lawmakers from ruling Communist Party of Nepal and one from the Federal Socialist Forum.

After voting, the ruling party has responded, they only surf. The Congress’s response doesn’t seem too much.

CPN shows 3 reasons of Joshi’s rejection:

  1. Joshi’s suspicious educational certificate, specifying the different birth date.
  2. Joshi could not give satisfactory answer to the question asked during the hearing. And could not give a convincing complete action plan as the chief justice.
  3. Some of the tasks which have been converted to justice by Joshi in the past were controversial and suspicious.
