Kathmandu: According to Hindu religion, basil is considered as a godly form. Basil is important for daily worship, beauty of the house, and for religious work. It is also beneficial for health. Crushed some basil leaves and mix with honey and cumin then eaten by a person suffering from diarrhea is a good medicine. It reduces diarrhea. When eaten basil leaf everyday it reduces problem of cancer.
By pressing basil leaves, keeping two drops in eye everyday, eye remains healthy and shiny. While chewed basil leaves regularly make the amount of sugar in the body controlled and it does not get diabetes. Basil is very good for blood circulation in the body, which also reduces headache problem.
Basil cleans blood. External skin problems are also cured if basil is taken regularly. If you want to keep the Basil leaf in the mouth at the time of smoking, then the smoking habits go away.
