The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has picked Bidya Bhattarai as the party’s candidate for the by-elections from Kaski-2. In the video we can see her speaking about her family life, her candidacy and how she takes it. She speaks about this opportunity she is getting and she also talks about the lashes she might face, and the challenges she has.
She also talks about wide body and says that she will do the remaining work her husband has left. A Secretariat meeting of the party held on Saturday decided to that effect. However, a formal announcement will be made on Sunday.
Bhattarai is the wife of former Minister for Tourism Rabindra Adhikari who died in a chopper crash on February 27. The provincial committee of the party had recommended Bhattarai, Somnath Pyasi and Rajkaji Gurung as the party’s candidates for the by-polls. Watch video to know more…
