Govt for prosperity with social justice: Minister Bista
Biratnagar : Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, has said the government was devoted to realizing prosperity with the social justice.
During an interaction organized here by the Joint Trade Union here today, Minister Bista argued that government was working for good governance and people’s welfare.
Provision of minimum wage was implemented for the workers to manage their daily meals and the workers now onwards would get Rs 16,000 per month along with social security, the Minister said, adding that the workers would get the payment based on their contribution within two months.
According to him, all need to abide by the rule of providing payment through bank. The suggestions of the workers for their welfare would be given top priority.
On the occasion, Minister for Social Development in Province 1, Jiban Ghimire, said all sides need to contribute from their sides for government’s dream of prosperity, and workers need to focus on productions.
Secretary at the Ministry, Mahesh Dahal, hoped that the labour act brought after extensive discussion with employers and labour would be effective.
