Local level needs to develop sports: Leader Poudel
Tahanu : Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ramchandra Poudel has said sports needs to be developed from the very local levels.
Inaugurating a football match organized at Myagdi Rural Municipality Ward No 1 in the district on Friday, Nepali Congress senior leader Poudel said development of sports from local level could encourage youths.
On a different note, he said the roadway from Manungkot to Damauli would be blacktopped soon.
On the occasion, other leaders including central member of the party, Shankar Bhandari, said time has come to produce able sportsmen.
Thirty teams have participated in the competition, where the first one will secure the cash prize of Rs 75,000; second Rs 35,000.
