Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today said that his party was not happy with the performance of the incumbent government, which enjoys a two-thirds majority. Former Prime Minister Dahal also expressed concern saying that the communists have become lavish and luxurious of late warning that the communist party, too, would lose its identity if leaders and cadres deviated from the party’s ideology.
Dahal said the party leadership was worried that development and prosperity were not taking place as expected. “Economic growth rate of the country is rising and we do not have to be disappointed at present.
But, the party leadership is fretting over the fact that work has not been done as projected,” Dahal added. He added they were reviewing performance of both the party and the government and they would soon start work from a new perspective. Dahal requested not to question him about the Cabinet reshuffle.
