Leopard victim family gets relief of Rs 1 million
Bhaktapur : Relief amounting to Rs 1 million was provided to a leopard victim family in Suryabinayak municipality of the district today.
The relief amount was provided by the Ministry of Forest. Family of Shirish Lama, who was killed in a leopard attack, was handed a relief at a programme organized at Gundu in the district today.
The five-year old child was killed by the menacing leopard on February 12 while he was returning home from a local shop.
Lawmaker and former minister Mahesh Basnet gave away the amount to Shishir’s father Sunil Lama today.
